Worked arithmetic example
From concentration to a measurable draw
A hypothetical 5 mg vial mixed to 2 mL has a concentration of 2.5 mg/mL. An entered 250 mcg amount is 0.25 mg, so the measured volume is 0.1 mL.

Does the mix optimizer choose a target dose?
No. It keeps the target dose entered by the user fixed and compares water volumes only for measurement clarity and selected-device fit.
Can IU be converted to mg or mcg?
Not generically. IU potency is substance-specific. The IU tool requires the exact total potency shown on the source label and does not perform an IU-to-mass conversion.
Does fixed-ratio blend math confirm compatibility?
No. It reports arithmetic for components sharing one entered volume. It cannot establish chemical compatibility, stability or handling suitability.
